Where can I find a copy of the program?

The Beef Australia 2024 event program can currently be viewed and downloaded from the Beef Australia website below. View the website for updates on how to retrieve a program at the event. View the event program

Where is Beef2024 being held?

Beef Australia 2024 will be held at the Rockhampton Showgrounds and Victoria Park and entry to the event will be on Graeme Acton Way (adjacent to the tennis courts) or at Gate 10 on New Exhibition Road.

Ticketed events and social functions will be held in specific venues across the event grounds and also offsite at other venues in Rockhampton. Each event listing on the ticketing site has information on the venue and access.

Can I bring alcohol to Beef2024?

No, you cannot bring your own alcohol to the main event grounds or any event during Beef2024, however alcohol may be purchased and consumed within the licensed bar areas including M’Eat Street, The Lawn, and Centre Ring.

Can I bring my own food to Beef2024?

Commercially packaged foods cannot be brought to Beef2024. There will be food and beverage vendors waiting to serve you around the grounds and within the all new M’Eat Street and BBQ Precinct on Graeme Acton Way.

Is there lost property at Beef2024?

Lost and unclaimed property can be handed into any of the Beef Australia Information stands around the grounds. Property will be held onsite during the event then moved to the Beef Australia head office at Level 1, 195 Bolsover Street, Rockhampton after 12 May 2024.

Will the event still be on if there is extreme weather?

All entertainment, events and activities will go ahead in rain and inclement weather, subject to a safety assessment by officials. Please follow the Beef Australia social media channels for important updates and download the ticketing app to receive notifications on any changes to ticketed events.

Where can I park my car at the event?

Paid parking will be available at Rockhampton State High School during the event. Tickets must be pre-purchased via the Beef2024 ticketing site. If you do not wish to purchase parking, we highly recommend alternate transport (Uber, taxi, public transport) or utilising the FREE Beef Australia ‘Park n Ride’ transport service. Due to the large scale of the event and the road closures involved, traffic congestion and lack of street parking is extremely common.

Accessible parking will be available close to the event for permit holders. Please view our website and subscribe for updates.

What form of ID will I need?

If you’re attending a licensed venue or an 18+ event during Beef2024, you will need to bring along one of the following forms of identification and keep it on you:

Australian Driver License (with photo)
Current Passport
Government Issued Proof of Age Queensland Card
International Driver License (with photo)

Additionally, if you have purchased a concession or companion card ticket, you will need to bring this ID to present at the door.

Are there any items I cannot take to the event?

GLASS, ALCOHOL, WEAPONS, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES or any item the event organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner must not be brought into the event. To ensure the safety and security of all event participants and attendees, it is recommended that baggage carried into the event is limited. Police and security will be monitoring the event site and you may be asked to have your bag checked on entry or at any time while on the event grounds.

Can I take photos and/or videos at the event?

Beef Australia encourage attendees to take photos and videos at the event and share on social media. Make sure you follow and tag us at @beefaustralia #beefaustralia and #Beef2024 to share your content! Photographs and videos taken at Beef Australia 2024 may be used only for private non-commercial purposes. For the avoidance of doubt, commercial purposes include licensing, merchandising, memorabilia, or marketing.

Photos and/or videos must not be taken of any product or items on trade fair sites unless you have asked direct permission from the exhibitor.

Can I volunteer to work at Beef2024?

There are many roles required to fulfil the Beef Australia volunteer program, including drivers, hosts, information staff, operational support, ticketing support, stock handlers, and so much more.
